Verdict

GIVE SOME LIP (2) mixed his form last season and will be resuming at an even easier BM52 level. The pole position should suit her, and with a couple of quiet jump-outs under her belt, she should be ready to run some sort of race in a very modest field. SLATE RIPPER (4) has run the odd good race this prep, and may have found 1m a touch too far last time out when looking likely on the final turn, before peaking late on his run. Stick with him on an each-way level. SACRED INGOT (3) has recently changed stables, and though he has found it hard to win another race, he does have some tactical early pace, and his only win did come fresh up, so keep an eye on any positive market moves. KNOCK OF BEERS (7) has been improving in each of her 3 runs back from a spell, and she should secure a run to suit her in this easier grade. Each way value. TESTING THE CUGAT (8) is fresh up over a distance that will be short of his best, but off a genuine tempo, he can run into the top 4 in this.
