PENDANTE (9) is knocking on the door after just missing last time over 1m at this track. Well placed and should be in the finish again. RUSSIAN RONI (5) started a short-priced favourite, and just missed, in a similar race to this last time out coming out of 62 grade of races so there's no reason to think he won't go close again. GARFIELD (3) was prominent at the turn and finished third last start over 1m at this track, beaten 4.5 lengths. In the right race and is one of the big hopes. LIKA MOSH (12) found the line nicely to grab second last time out over 1m at Pakenham and while that was the picnic final, the horse that beat her started favourite at Moe during the week so the form looks good enough for a race like this. CAPTAIN BARBOSSA (1) will be better for the first-up run, draws well and is much more suited up to this trip.
