NISHIOKA (7) lifted strongly late on debut and only missed out on winning by a head at Bairnsdale over 5f, and the extra 1f here should make all the difference. With the right run from a tricky gate, she is good enough to go one better. HURRICANE GIRL (3) was runner-up when making her debut on the Ballarat poly track, and since then she has contested a couple of tougher fields, with mixed results. The blinkers go on for the first time, and from a good gate, she should be very competitive. Each way. SOUND BYTE (9) was put aside to mature after finishing fourth on debut as a juvenile. She will be stronger now, and starts from the pole position fresh up. With 3 jump-outs under her belt, she will be ready to rumble. TIGHTEN UP (11) makes her debut after some encouraging jump-out efforts, and any market leads will be worth following. FLAMENCO STAR (1) is also worth top 4 consideration.
