SULEK (12) goes on top off an encouraging return at Ballarat, running on well from too far back to grab fourth. Better for that and up to 7 ½f looks ideal given his third in the Bendigo Guineas second up last time in. BELLA VERONA (10) has come back well with two relatively soft wins. She's promising and can go on with it but you'd like to see them making ground out wide. SOMEWHERE (3) is off a let up but very consistent. He keeps running well in handy races and the third to Changing Colours last time reads very well. MR VERSE (5) will find this a touch easier than a few recent runs and can improve from HIYAAM PROUD (7) who was solid fresh and has claims.
