ASTARI (9) was a little slow to begin but picked up well beaten 1.2L at Cranbourne. Maps well and Dee rides today. Has the blinkers on for the first time and the longer spring will suit. He deserves another chance. SAKIMA (3) resumes and has switched to the Hayes boys from the Snowden barn in Sydney. She's had four jumpouts and is Listed placed over 7f. May need one but has to be kept safe. ESQUEL (5) resumed in tougher at Flemington and needed the outing. Has the in-form Meech aboard today and the blinkers are applied for the first time. She's proven second up and riding the speed will give a sight. DIMORA QUEEN (1) resumes and has won both jumpouts. Has a handy 7lbs claim back in grade and she will use an inside barrier. She looks ready to deliver on her potential.
