BATTLE OF THE ICE (6) resumes. He's a lightly raced 4yo who only had one run last time in work when third in a good form race at Mornington, a winner on debut prior to that. He's been jumping out nicely and looks ready to go first up. MR BLUNT (3) struggled first up at Caulfield Heath, his first run on turf having bolted in with two synthetic track wins last time in. Want to see him again now but he can improve quickly. SUSSEX DUCHESS (8) is racing in fine form of late, not all that far away in a stronger affair last time and that form has stood up well through Torsheen. Big chance. STREET CONQUEROR (5) is consistent and an each-way hope again while DOBKINS (7) is progressive and can measure up.
