Verdict

OUTDRIVE (1) presents third up in what looks a winnable race. He's the one with a bit of upside, winning well first up at Pakenham before a sound effort at Seymour up to a BM62. Comes back a notch now and the extra ¾f should suit nicely. COOL STAR (9) hasn't won in a while but did beat Outdrive home at Seymour first up (albeit at 100/1) before another sound effort over this route in tougher grade. Have to respect in the right race. ALBANIAN I AM (2) is another that hasn't won in some time but his best is certainly good enough and the quick turnaround can see him hard to beat. MONSUN'S PRIDE (11) switches back to turf off a solid placing at Ballarat Synthetic and is in the mix, as is TREASURY PLACE (5) who relished the heavy at Donald last time.
