OMNIC (2) is out in search of a hat-trick here having proved a tough winner of his past two, both at Cranbourne. Up to 1 ¹/16m here should suit nicely now and this doesn't look any harder. Jabez Johnstone is in red-hot form and keeps the ride from an ideal draw. They can win again. CHARMING DEEL (7) is knocking on the door having just found one better at her past two starts. The run two back at Bendigo behind Dark Simba is good form for this and she can go one better on the quick backup. JACKAND (9) is another who has finished runner-up in their past two. He's up slightly in grade but drops 7lbs and should take holding out. AMPHACTOR (4) is racing well without winning but gets every hope from the soft gate and is in the mix again. MISS TRUSTFUL (12) won well here in easier last time and warrants respect.
