CHIHULY (7) broke through for a smart win at Sandown Hillside last time out, coming away to score by 2.75 lengths. Showed speed there and should set up well from a good draw this time around. Can repeat the dose. SHULTZY (3) the veteran is racing well, not far away in a tougher race at Caulfield two back before battling into a distant 2nd at Sandown Hillside last time. This suits nicely. BLACK PEPPERMINT (4) hasn't won this time in but is going okay. He was behind Chihuly last time but was in the market and can improve. BIRATU (9) just missed at Seymour last time and is open to further improvement. DRAGOON (2) can convert a good synthetic win to turf and figure.
