Verdict

Tricky race. GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS (8) can mix her form but has ability on her day. She's contested a few country cups recently, third at St Arnaud two back as favourite, sixth at Ararat last time. She's a real stayer so getting to this trip on the bigger deck looks ideal. AFRICAN GREY (2) is the one with upside at just his third career start having won his maiden doggedly at Cranbourne over 1 ¼m last time out. He should have no issue with this trip and can measure right up. LEONCHROI (4) is also relatively lightly raced, acquitting himself well out to this sort of trip at Bendigo last start when getting back and working home for sixth. The draw isn't ideal but he'll be hard to hold out. EAGLE ANGEL (1) did enough fresh at Mornington and should be fitter. He can roll forward and give a sight. JENNI INTIBA (10) was beaten as favourite last time but ran on well, she can figure.
