Verdict

CELESTIAL AWARD (11) made an encouraging debut last time out, finishing 1.2 lengths from the winner in fourth over 7f at Pakenham. With that run under the belt, up to an even more favourable trip from a great draw she looks a key player. PIERROBID (6) is also drawn well and after a plain run first-up bounced back last time when staying at 7 ½f to suggest even further improvement would come up to this trip. SUNBURNT COUNTRY (8) did very well to fill a minor placing when resuming at Seymour but raced below expectations last time over 7 ½f at Caulfield Heath, finishing sixth and beaten 3.5 lengths. Finds a nice race here and can bounce back. CHARLECOTE MILL (12) is up in grade, but has been luckless in two runs this prep and just needs the chance to wind up to be a contender. Should get that chance from the draw. NOTHIN' WONG HERE (4) was good first-up in town then again in a strong form race last time, so respect is warranted.
