Verdict

NAVY HEART (12) relished the longer trip winning a 66 here in good style. Steps up a level this time, but she maps to advantage and looks capable of testing her rivals. LEONCHROI (9) will be the testing material building on his placing at Pakenham in a 78. Bates handy 4lbs claim offsets some of the weight increase and he should enjoy a cosy run. HOT TOO GO (3) went close in the Navy Heart race and that stacks up. He will be positioned on the pace and get every chance. WITTELSBACH (13) has been switched from Sydney by the Archibald yard and will find this more suitable than a 78 at Randwick. Has an outside gate but has Jamie Melham aboard and look for her late.
