Verdict

BATTLE OF THE ICE (6) resumes. He's a lightly raced 4yo who only had one run last time in work when third in a good form race at Mornington, a winner on debut prior to that. He's been jumping out nicely and looks ready to go first up. SUSSEX DUCHESS (8) is racing in fine form of late, not all that far away in a stronger affair last time and that form has stood up well through Torsheen. Big chance with Willo booked. STREET CONQUEROR (5) is consistent and an each-way hope again having been beaten under a length at Caulfield Heath last time. He'll be thereabouts in the run and Brown goes on. DOBKINS (7) is progressive off a narrow win at Terang and could go on with it now.
