Verdict

Keen to stick with BRUISER MURPHY (3) who ran some slick late sectionals at Pakenham in a Class 1 last start, rattling home for a narrow fifth in a handy race. The debut win prior at Moe was impressive and if he can just land midfield here he'll go mighty close. EMPIRE SONG (4) ran in a much stronger race first up and faded but had shown ability prior and can do much better here up on speed which will be key. LOVING MANDY (1) was off a short break last time at Ballarat and ran a fair race, expect she can strip fitter here and take beating. PRINCE PIENZA (5) comes off a narrow maiden at Kilmore, the well bred colt might be able to go on with it now.
