Verdict

Tough finish for the mares. BRIDAL WALTZ (10) has been very costly this time in with three narrow defeats in the market but isn't running poorly. Her past two she's led at a slow speed and been outsprinted by horses with a better turn of foot. Her straight-track form is good and if she's allowed to roll she'll be very hard to catch. GEEGEES MISTRUTH (1) was a complete forgive as the $1.90 favourite last time after missing the start on a day that was hard to make ground. Two runs prior in G1 company read very well. FLYING FOR FUN (4) flashed home for second behind Jigsaw last start in the G2 Schillaci and looks a mare suited by a wide draw down the straight with J-Mac sticking. INKARUNA (3) has done nothing wrong this preparation and should be right there again. NAIFAH (5) did narrowly beat home Bridal Waltz last start and warrants respect.
