Verdict

Competitive sprint but NAPOLEONIC (2) looks the one to beat. He was good splitting Ninja and Angel Capital first up in the G2 Missile Stakes which is outstanding form before holding his ground in the G1 Manikato behind Jimmysstar. Was off a let-up there so expect he'll be fitter and J-Mac goes on for the drop in class. GOLDEN STRAAND (10) was a smart winner with a big weight fresh then proved costly at Doomben. Fancy there's more to come and he drops in weight for D Lane. SWEYNESDAY (5) ran a cracking race first up in the G2 Caulfield Sprint over 5f when running on for fifth. He's much better suited up to 6f. HEDGED (1) can bounce back off a heavy track failure here last time, his effort prior was very game. HANKEE ALPHA (20) was awesome winning in easier company at his local debut but was potentially flattered by the conditions there. DISNECK (7) was a sneaky run in the G2 Sydney Stakes last time and does boast a good win over this route.
