Verdict

Tricky little race. The unbeaten HARRY LIME (13) looks a bit of value coming down from NSW. He's won both starts to date in solid style, posting good time from the front to win a Class 1 at Kembla Grange last start. Respecting the Waterhouse & Bott yard, he'll be rock-hard fit and hard to run down. UNIT FIVE (3) caught the eye with a big finish first up in the McNeil Stakes behind American Eagle. That race didn't rate particularly highly but he was first up and should be suited to this trip now. DIAMETER (2) stuck on well first up in the G3 Up And Coming Stakes at Rosehill with the big weight. Gets in much better here and any extra ground will only help. BIG WIGS (4) was the best closer in the G3 Vain Stakes fresh and looked like a horse who would get over more ground this time in. SOMETHINGS BURNIN' (12) was a moral beaten at the midweeks last time, respecting although this is tougher.
