TRUANT (7) resumed as a gelding for the first time and finished a sound runner-up at Moe off the back of a jump-out win. That run would have brought his condition on nicely, and he will pick up his first win at short notice. VALENTINA GIRL (9) has won both of her jump-outs this season, and only has a tricky gate to overcome for her debut. If not too green, she will be very competitive. LONNEGAN (5) won the latest of his 6 jump-outs this year, including 3 this season. He is bred to be good, and with the aid of a decent gate, he will be hard to hold out. MAGNUSAURUS REX (6) has not been too bad in both of his runs to date, and dropping back to 5f could suit him. A good draw, makes him a top 4 chance in this.
