KAWA (6) went back early from her wide draw over 1 5/16m at Ballarat Synthetic last time but hit the line strongly to finish fourth. Been going around in better-quality races than this of late and draws to advantage. FOREVER JEUNE (8) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 3/4 of a length away in fourth last time out over 1 ¼m at Warracknabeal. Another who has the talent to win but has a tricky gate. JUST SWIFT (7) was a strong maiden winner last time up to 1 5/16m, so looks only further advantaged by the extra trip here. FIOROWNGOOD (1) got off the mark over 1 ¼m at Casterton last start, scoring by 1.75 lengths. He's been consistent all prep and can be relied upon for an honest showing.
