Verdict

DON'TCALLMECHAMP (3) registered a strong win at Wodonga two runs ago. Decent effort last time out when in the firing line on the corner before finishing second over 1m at Swan Hill, beaten a head. Nicely placed to return to winning form. AHAB (2) went forward from the low draw last start and sat on the pace before sticking on well to finish second over 1 ¼m at Casterton. Back in trip here and drawn out but should be in the mix. JUST LANDED (4) ran below expectations last time at Kilmore, finishing sixth and beaten 8 lengths but is nicely placed to make amends. SIDE PIECE (5) did nothing first-up but ran a much improved race last start, which was over 1 ?m, so he'll be fit enough to peak here back to the 1m.
