Verdict

Looks a cracking race for BRANDJAM (4), who finished sixth two runs back then did well last start but found one better over 6 ½f at Sandown-Hillside, beaten only 1.75 lengths. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role and should be at peak fitness after three runs back. BECAUSEYOU'REMINE (3) has sprung to life since changing stables and while this is a touch tougher than his past two, his tail is up. STOLEN ART (1) finished sixth two runs back at Terang then improved last time out to score by half a length, which made it two wins from his past three. This is slightly tougher but going too well to dismiss. EIRE OF FORTUNE (8) returns after a six-and-a-half months spell and looks forward enough following a Camperdown trial win.
