Verdict

Potentially a very handy race, albeit two key chances have come out. TRAPDOOR (15) doesn't and can get the job done. He just found Enamorada too strong first up but ran a good race and that form line should hold up. He draws wide which isn't ideal for the negative stable but if the track is playing fairly he'll be very hard to hold out. STEEL TRAP (3) resumes. She didn't fire fresh last time but has ability and draws well having run in some good races last time in. She can track the speed and dash through. ALERO (1) is going well having won 2 of his past 3, winning dominantly at Pakenham last time. He lands on speed from out wide and will take catching. NOBLER (14) is a Waller import who resumes here. This will be on the sharp side but he has the ability and can be running on.
