Verdict

BLUESTONE (4) made an early move off a very slow tempo at Sandown Hillside last time out and battled on well to miss by less than a length. He's been rock solid in all six runs to date, winning three, and looks to have a bit more upside than his rivals. Needs the right run but should take beating. GOLDEN CRUSADER (1) could be the one to catch at odds. He hasn't been threatening of late but has largely been racing better horses. Three runs back he finished third to Immediacy at Mornington and that sort of run would go close here. TRAPALANDA (6) was third in the race Bluestone comes through having won in Sydney prior. Has upside and can figure again. REALIKA (16) was just behind Trapalanda there and will be hard to hold out late. MATHEW (2) struggled on heavy ground last time but has peak figures that have him firmly in the mix.
