Verdict

LA FRACAS (4) has always promised a bit and looks to have come back in career best form. It was only a BM64 at Mornington he won first up but he put them away with ease and looks to have more to come. Can go right on with it. DE BERGERAC (1) was heavily supported to win first up at Sale in BM64 grade, winning easily with 134lbs. He'll likely be back in the field from the gate but should be charging late. WALLENDA (3) can mix his form but hasn't been beaten far at his past couple, finding the line well at Sandown Hillside last start. Looks a solid each way chance again. JEWEL BAY (14) struggled staying at 5f second up but had been good on resumption and getting to 6f now should suit. DARTS DALY (8) is racing well and should set up nicely from the low gate.

Horse Racing Basic Terms

Morning Line

An approximation of expected odds in a race, quoted before actual odds are determined.

Also Eligible

A horse that is entered but does not draw into the body of the field due to too many entries, and thus is not permitted to start unless there are enough scratches to shrink the field size.
