Verdict

WACO KID (2) is searching for his fourth win in a row, too good again last time at Sandown Lakeside when overhauling Itsukushima. This is a bit tougher again but rising to 1 ?m looks in his favour and he's hard to knock in this sort of form. MR BANNOCK (7) ran a good race first up at Geelong over 7 ½f, getting home strongly for second. More ground here will suit although it's likely he'll improve out of this as well. TAKA SPEED (1) has won both this time in, making it 3 wins from 5 overall starts. He's progressive and will be up on speed again. CANARA (10) is going okay and has each way claims.

On a three run winning streak. At the latest run favourite, came from midfield and won by a long-neck at Sandown-Lakeside 0 - 66 January 8 over 1m defeating Itsukushima carrying 128lbs at $3.40. The race before that favourite, raced right near the speed and boxed on, won by 1.75 len at Cranbourne Bm62 December 19 over 1m defeating Cyclone Harmony carrying 128lbs at $2. Rates highly. Keeps measuring up and should do so again.
