Verdict

Easily the race of the day and keen to see the resuming TOUCHDOWN (9) who went through the grades nicely last time in. He won three in a row and was often heavily backed before getting into a tricky spot off a slow speed in a BM78 before the break when off a setback. 7f here is short of his best and the wide draw isn't ideal but he's one that will have Group level aspirations going forward. HE'LL RIP (1) is up and running and racing very well, placing in his past two in stronger Saturday company. He only needs to hold that form to be going close again. BOTANICAL BOY (20) resumes. He's a handy sort who won two in a row nicely last time in and can run a bold race. FEAR NO EVIL (17) resumes. He's 2/2 first up and handles all ground, he'll roll forward and take catching. Wary of the import CURRAWOOD (6) who boasts some strong overseas form, the market will be key for the Bedggood yard.
