Verdict

FARAWAY DREAM (7) can take a big step off her first-up run at Caulfield Heath. She had a bit against there but stuck on well for fifth and should come on from that. She's got upside and sets up well from the gate here. DREAMZEL (2) is a handy mare suited at this trip. She was okay up in grade at Caulfield last time but fancy the 5 ½f sees her out anyway, so back to 5f and in grade, can see her bounce back. RAVENCLAW (1) is an interesting one, now with the Harry Lafferty yard. He's got plenty of ability having bolted in with a BM78 in Sydney first up last time in but is off a long break. Watch the betting. WEAPON CLEAR (4) won nicely first up at Bendigo and looks able to go on with it this time in. SOJU (8) is going well and has each-way claims.

Second-up. First-up after five months 5th of 11 at Caulfield Heath F&M Bm74 on June 17 over 5f, on a slow track, 3 len behind Cavalry Girl carrying 125lbs at $17. Previously second-up came from midfield and won by 1.0 len at Cranbourne 3yo Bm64 December 12 over 5f defeating La Astro Chat carrying 128lbs at $1.65. Fitter for that run and should be well placed now.
