Verdict

Open staying contest but the upside of NOTTOLOOK (5) appeals. He's only raced three times, winning his past two nicely, coming from well back to score at Swan Hill when last seen 43 days ago. No issue with the gap between runs for the Payne yard and he can measure up to these. BLACK PEPPERMINT (1) is building towards a win in three runs this time in, very good two back at Caulfield Heath before a solid effort to 1 ¼m last time. 1 ½m is perfect now, go close. CHIHULY (8) doesn't win out of turn but put in a good effort last time behind a smart winner and looks a key hope off that. POWER PIVOT (9) is going well and in the mix again.
