Verdict

The upside of MARSEPT (17) appeals. She returned with a great second placing to Extragalactic who has since run a big second in G2 company and is a leading chance in The Goodwood in Adelaide today. Marsept then went to Geelong for an easy kill and did it with ease in good time with strong late splits. Tipping she can measure right up. SUN SETTING (9) ran on strongly first up behind a handy one in Tres Magnifique to grab third. She can settle closer from the inside draw here and will be hard to hold out over 5 ½f. ACTUALITY (13) was heavily backed at Mornington last time but seemed to have her chance when third. She's a much bigger price today if you wanted to follow her up. SWIFT FORCE (10) is a good Tasmanian filly who comes over having won in good time before a let up. She wouldn't shock. SILENT SHARES (8) resumes and can sprint well fresh at big odds.
