Verdict

SALTY PEARL (12) brings clearly the best formlines. Three runs this time in have all been good, getting home well fresh before chasing Sass Appeal & Sheza Alibi home her past two. This looks easier, she gets in well and if she's got one more good run in her she'll go awfully close. DIFFERENT GRAVY (1) resumes. This is probably a kick off point for a race like the SA Derby, but he did plenty right last campaign with a few big wins. Just how big a start they concede from the gate will make it tough but watch for him late. VEYEPEE (7) has won both starts to date, too strong despite being wide on speed at Caulfield Heath. This is a new test but one he looks capable of answering. CINTURATO (9) resumed with a soft win at Cranbourne, backed into $1.24. He contested a G3 at second up last time in which suggests they've always had a good opinion. STORM LEOPARD (8) was far too good last time and has minor claims.
