AU - Caulfield - Race 8

JIMMYSSTAR (1) returns and still has arguably the title of the best sprinter in the country, third in The Everest, dominant in the Russel Balding and too good in the C F Orr his past three. 6f fresh is ideal, he boasts comfortably the best ratings in the race and while he'll give some good ones a start, he'll just need a good ride to pick runs from barrier one to be winning. The danger could be TROPICUS (7) who was fantastic winning the G1 Oakleigh Plate first up with 129lbs. He was half-slow away and settled just off the pace but came right away to win dominantly in the end. He lands in front here from a soft barrier and will give Jimmy something to catch. ANGEL CAPITAL (4) was better in the G1 Newmarket last time but was in the right spot there. He's very talented, just not sure he's sharp enough at 6f and Jimmy did handle him here when they met. JIGSAW (2) backs up from last week's dominant win. He's flying, will come across and give a sight. BARAQIEL (5) perhaps next best.
