Verdict

ALPHA SOFIE (2) resumes having gone to the paddock an impressive winner of the Listed Atlantic Jewel Stakes at Moonee Valley, coming underneath the field there when bolting for a run and winning by two lengths. She sets the benchmark here and will be very hard to hold out. SIGNATURE SCENT (4) resumes. She looked very good winning her first two career starts in sharp time before close up efforts behind some top fillies including My Gladioa. She gets every chance on speed from the soft gate and looks a huge chance while fresh. JENNI THE NINJA (5) is unbeaten in two starts, beating a handy field at Flemington last time out. This has more depth again but she's hard to knock. THANKS GORGEOUS (6) went from a maiden to BM78 last start at Flemington which is no easy feat. Signature Scent did handle her fairly comfortably when they met but she's improving. BEL MERCI (1) resumes, now with the Maher yard. She didn't fire last time in but they debut Gimrack win was very good.
