Verdict

Field of six for the Might And Power but there's quality at the top. At the prices, BIRDMAN (1) looks some chance of upsetting the very short favourite SHEZA ALIBI (6). Birdman was awesome winning the G1 Underwood here last time, mowing down Cosmic Crusader who has since bolted in with the G1 Turnbull. He's established himself as a genuine weight-for-age star and he has the turn of foot to serve it right up to the favourite. No doubt Sheza Alibi is the one to beat. She's a world class mare who dominated the G1 Makybe Diva second up with an electric change of gear. First try at 1 ¼m but can't see it posing an issue. $1.35 in early betting gives you an indication of the regard she's held in and realistically she should still be too good. TREASURETHE MOMENT (5) was better in the Feehan last time and looks the most likely 3rd placegetter from KINGSWOOD (4) who will be on speed and is racing very well, he can take a bit of running down.
