AU - Caulfield - Race 5

ALONG THE RIVER (2) narrowly on top. Both runs back from a spell have been good, just finding the talented Gallant Son a bit too strong at Flemington two weeks ago. He can push forward, land in a good spot and take beating here. SALSA FELLOW (1) resumed with a solid run at Flemington behind the sharp Celerity, getting home late from back in the field there. He was racing well in good 3yo races last time in and should be hard to hold out. EXPULSION (10) was a smart winner first up at Sandown Lakeside in a 0-66, coming right away late. This is a fair rise in grade but she stays right down in the weights and could go on with it. EAGLE EXPRESS (6) resumes. She's a consistent sort who kept racing well in handy races last time in. 5 ½f from a wide draw here might not be her best scenario but she can be hitting the line. DECLARED (4) won very well fresh at Murray Bridge. This is harder but he has to be respected.
