Verdict

See no reason to jump off the airborne JETT SMASH (2) who has won all three starts this time in, stepping up to 7f last start at Sandown Lakeside and going right on with it to score by 1.5 lengths. He's drawn wide but can get to the front before the first bend and will take plenty of catching again. SUNLIT SERENADE (7) looks a danger. It was only an Echuca Class 1 she won fresh but she did it easily as favourite and she's always promised a bit. Up to 1m suits. WEST OF SWINDON (1) is off a let up and back in grade for this. Not sure he's really progressed since his earlier days but he's been racing in far better races and can turn things around now. BONA SFORZA (5) didn't stay 1 ¼m in the G1 Australasian Oaks last time when getting back. She's a handy NZ filly who is better suited here. RISING STAR (8) has been kept fresh since a solid run first up and can improve out to a mile.
