Verdict

FEDERER (6) is an interesting runner here second up. He's always shown plenty of ability but has clearly had a few issues with just 11 starts to his name, but the return at Sandown Hillside over 1m was fantastic, getting a long way back and motoring home for third behind Perfect Ten who won last Saturday. Straight to 1 ¼m and drawn wide but Shinn booked offsets that somewhat. SIMURGH (4) is tricky, off a short spell here. He progressed nicely in his first local campaign, winning a couple over this route in similar affairs before bumping into a nice one. How forward he is off the break is the query but he's right up to this. AEOLIAN (16) was well supported here last time dropping in weight. She didn't win but ran well for fourth and should be peaking now, consider. AMLETO (2) is racing very well off a win here and should take beating again.
