Verdict

Most of the field on debut and all look to have shown some ability, but of the raced brigade, ALMOST AN ANGEL (5) goes on top. She debuted at Caulfield Heath with a powerful win over this trip, settling back off a good speed and powering away to win by two lengths. Fancy she'll want further but that race experience is worth plenty and she can finish over the top again. MORNING WHISPER (10) is a Written Tycoon filly on debut for the Maher yard. She looked to win her recent jumpout in good style after showing speed. Tipping she measures up quickly. IVY (9) is a Hanseatic filly on debut for the Warren yard, who won this last year with Palm Angel in the same colours. She's won a few jumpouts and should be ready to go. ALIBABA (1) settled off the leaders and hit the line strongly to win a recent trial. Suspect he's got plenty of ability. SHINSIENA (11) is a Maurice filly who looks to have some speed and can give a sight.
