Verdict

Tough with some good looking newcomers looking big chances, perhaps none more so than NATURAL FLING (12), a filly for team McEvoy by Home Affairs who cruised to the line to win a recent trial at Caulfield Heath, showing speed and doing it easily. She was an expensive purchase who looks very talented. AEMOND (4) is a colt by Written Tycoon on debut for the Freedman yard who closed strongly to win a recent jumpout at Cranbourne in good style. Expect he's ready to go. SHOOTING BRAKE (3) has had experience, coming on well from midfield to grab second at Caulfield Heath on debut. Have to respect that. TRUANT (7) is a colt by Pinatubo on debut for the Hayes yard who has jumped out well with Zahra booked to ride from a good gate. ICELADY (9) has had a couple of starts at Pakenham and been good in both, she can give a sight.
