Verdict

CALEANA (3) improved sharply on his fourth two starts back at Seymour with a win over 1m at Ballarat last time out. This looks a suitable progression, so expect another big run. PAVLICH (4) drifted well back and failed to finish it off last start when 13th, beaten 8 lengths, over 1m at Caulfield. Perfectly placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. PICK WISELY (6) was a determined maiden winner last time out, scoring by a nose over 7 ?f at Kyneton. Nicely drawn and he is a great chance to go back-to-back. POSITIVO (7) has struck a purple patch of form and while he has a tricky draw to contend with here, he's racing too well to take on. SINISTER SAUCE (12) was never a factor last start but it was the first poor run of the campaign and she can easily bounce back here.
