QUICK FINISH (12) is a filly by Grunt on debut for the McEvoy yard in the Yulong colours. She showed speed to win a recent barrier trial at Caulfield Heath in nice style and looks ready to win first time out. Takes on a few handy types but can certainly measure up. KANDINSKY (1) has been costly in four runs to date, beaten at short odds each time, odds-on the past two. He may not have loved the heavy last time, the Bendigo run two back is good enough to win this. CARRY TRADE (3) was in the market and ran well fresh at Seymour but just bumped into one better. She should be fitter and can go one better. OLIVE ROAD (7) resumes with claims despite a wide gate.
