CLASSIC GEM (2) resumes. She's a 10-start maiden but has largely contested much stronger races, beaten narrowly into fourth in the G1 ATC Oaks just two starts ago. First up last campaign she was very good in G3 company at Caulfield, 7f from a wide gate here is the leveller but she can take this out. NOVAMIRA (12) steps up to 7f from two 5f runs. The debut was very good and she's certainly bred to appreciate the trip. CLUX STAR (3) has been racing well, beaten less than a length her past couple. Should be right there again. OPEN FIRE (6) Returns from a lay-off. Coming along well including a win in a Pakenham Synthetic jump-out. Can be an improver into her second campaign.
