WHAT A RIPPER (13) looked very good winning on debut at Ballarat Synthetic, settling handy and racing away to score by three lengths. Drawn wide this time and onto turf but tipping he can measure up with natural improvement. RUSSIAN CHOICE (10) resumes for her second campaign. Ran fourth in a jump-out at Ballarat Synthetic. She showed good ability and can sprint well fresh. BARDIA'S DREAM (8) has been going well of late, going down by just a neck when second at Seymour over 6f last time out and Lane sticks again. Right in this. VICTORIS (6) won first up last campaign and can figure fresh for the new yard.
