AU - Ballarat - Race 2

CIRCUS CIRCUS (2) has struggled to get continuity into her racing, but might be ready to do so this prep with the benefit of previous racing. Beaten as favourite first up, but did have to make up a bit of ground and can settle a little closer here from the low draw. SIRIUSLY BRIGHT (10) comes through the same race as KAPOLEI (6) and was stronger late than that horse despite being headed by her inside the furlong. Kapolei should be at peak fitness now and should feature again. There was a lot to like about the way AZULITA (1) finished off in a recent Kyneton jumpout win and the inside gate might not be a huge advantage if she's ridden on raceday like she was in that trial but she looks to have a big finish. TAN TAT ART (11) got within 3.5 lengths of Yes Yoshi before being turned out, which looks a handy form reference, and she's trialled well ahead of the return.
