FILIGREE SHADOW (6) was well fancied on debut and fair in the heavy conditions on the turf here, finishing fourth. Better for it and may well appreciate the firmer footing. Worth another chance. PULL MY FINGER (3) deserves a win having placed in 10 of 13 starts. Placed on the turf here last time adding to a string of minors. Senior rider goes aboard and should go close again. ETERNAL JOY (12) returned from a break with a sixth at Cranbourne after placing on debut late last year. Fitter and will find this easier. Can improve sharply. HELLO MISTRESS (7) wasn't disgraced at Swan Hill over their carnival, finishing fourth. That was her first run for almost a year so will strip much fitter. PLANET MARS (2) returned from a spell two weeks ago when he was beaten 5 lengths into eighth over 5 ½f at Pakenham Synthetic. Fitter so a likely improver.
