Hard to find too many negatives with KODIAK KING (7), who was adequate over too short a trip first-up, appreciated the step up to 7f last time out and wasn't beaten far in a stronger maiden than this. The extra trip here even more advantageous and has a gun draw to top things right off. ELATION AND JOY (13) won't be a pushover, though, having been beaten less than 2 lengths at all three runs and looks ready for 1m now. KNUCKLE (6) only needs to repeat the Benalla run two back to be a first four contender. BELLSYM (1) finished midfield last start at Horsham over 7f, 4.5 lengths from the winner. Tackles this longer journey for the first time and can improve.
