Verdict

FOREIGN CURRENCY (2) progressed at the trials before making an encouraging debut here 2 weeks ago off a nasty gate. He cops another tough draw, but he can continue to build his confidence, and he should not be in this grade for much longer. THAT'LL DO (4) was an easy trial winner prior to needing his debut run at Te Rapa 3 weeks ago when well found in the market. He has the pole position here, and as a 7YO gelding, his connections will be hoping to make up for lost time. Follow your money. AIM UP (3) has continued to progress in his short career to date, and dropping back from 7f to 6f will suit him. A good draw should see him in the top 3 this time. BOOMSTRUCK (1) resumed with a solid effort in blinkers for the first time here 2 weeks ago. He will naturally improve off that effort, and is good enough to take this out. RUSSIAN PRIME (13) looked good at the trials and finished second by a short-head on debut at Ellerslie 8 weeks ago. Each way claims again.
