COGNOSCENTI (4) used his early speed to take control over 1 ¼m here last start and kept finding to score narrowly by a head on a heavy track, and he has won a trial since then. With similar tactics on a wet track, he can repeat the dose. TAVI ANN (15) got back from the inside draw at Ashburton but closed off strongly for fifth over 1m. The extra 2f is ideal, and on a wet track, she can take this out. AKENEHI (8) was not far away when fourth over 1m at Ashburton last time out in the same race as the second pick, and the rise in trip will also suit her. She will relish a wet track, and she is good enough to win this. MISS ENZED (11) stuck on well for second over 1 ?m at Wingatui nearly 4 weeks ago. Her stable is on fire, and she can go one better here. FLAMBOYANCE (9) ended his last prep on a high with a brace of wins. He usually needs a run to get fit, but he is stronger now, and he has been to a tune-up trial. Follow any positive market moves.
