LIFE OF RILEY (4) worked forward and raced handy to the pace at Wingatui last start and stuck on well for second over this trip. She had been in good form on this track before that, and while this is a rise in grade, she is still on top for us. KIWI MAGIC (10) was a sound sixth when needing the run over 7f here 3 weeks ago, and the step up in distance is ideal. He is going to make the grade at some point, and he is good enough to take this out. AWESOME LINEUP (1) resumed 2 weeks ago and finished at the rear of the field over 6f at Wingatui when making his NZ debut. He has been a second-up winner in the past, and he will be a sharp improver in this. HIGH ROLLER (11) has had market support in recent runs without delivering, and his latest effort was made more difficult by a very slow beginning over 1m here 3 weeks ago. He is well worth another chance. OAKSDEEL (5) made up a stack of late ground to finish second here last start, and she can have the last say this time.
