Verdict

TULSA TURNAROUND (7) finished fifth, and made a solid impression fresh up in the South Island for the first time from the Carston stable. With the natural improvement that is expected second up, she can take this out, especially with an extra 1f to travel. GLOBALIST (1) has more upside than most of his rivals, and his form here and on the Riccarton poly track has been rock-solid. Terry Moseley is back in the saddle, and the pair have a great chance to take this out. LOOSE KNICKERS (3) probably should have won a race by now, and his third at Wingatui just over 6 weeks ago is good enough form for a race like this. Stick with him. BIG EXIT (5) has put in some big efforts this prep, and she would only need to repeat her effort for second on the Riccarton poly last time out to be a winning hope here. LA FURRIOSSA (9) was a touch disappointing last time out here after a solid run for sixth fresh up at Wingatui. We think she is worth another chance at bolters odds in this.
