Verdict

PEACENIK seemed suited by the step up to this trip when making all in good style over C&D 3 weeks ago and this progressive sort remains one to keep on the right side of. Botox Has is back down in class and is on a realistic mark so is next best, while Lowry's Bar could bounce back from his much-reduced mark after a break.

Peacenik (Ire) silk

Confirmed reappearance promise with an all-the-way win at Doncaster in December and took another big step forward when making all over C&D 3 weeks ago, burning off his rivals with a strong-galloping display. Most likeable type who should make another bold bid.

Botox Has (Fr) silk

Good third in Grade 2 Cleeve Hurdle at Cheltenham last winter but hasn't replicated that form since, though quickly put poor effort behind him when respectable third of 5 in National Spirit at Fontwell last month. Player back down in class from an easing mark if building on that.

Lowry's Bar (Ire) silk

Took well to fences last season, winning at Exeter and Chepstow before second of 3 in 3m Windsor Grade 2 novice. Found to have bled final start that season, however, and ran no sort of race in Coral Gold Cup on return here in November. Mark has dropped 12 lb at least.
