MEISHO MISS ICHI (9) looks the runner with the right blend of recent winning form and course-and-distance substance. Her seventh to Hazumu Rhythm last start was plain, but it followed a 3yo+ C1 win at Nagoya where she came from rearward and beat Rock A Hula Dancer by a nose, and her jockey record is a useful support. LAS BRISAS (8) is the harder runner to trust after being beaten over 16 lengths last time, yet the market has respected him at his past two and his overall record of three wins and four places from 21 starts gives him more upside than most here. KOMOMOCHAN (1) brings the cleanest last-start effort after going under by just under a length over 4 ?f, though the rise to 7 ½f is the genuine test. G T NEIGE (4) has been safely held lately, but past Nagoya placings keep her in the minor-money conversation if she finds her earlier level.
