FOREST GOLD (2) built on a nice second two starts back at this track with success as favourite over 1m at Perak three weeks ago, getting home by 1.3 lengths. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is good enough to figure in the finish. BORNEO STAR (3) turned things around last start and scored by 2 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner over 5f at this track. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is capable of testing his rivals. PACIFIC COMMANDER (1) came home strongly last start to finish third, beaten 0.6 lengths, over 5f at this track. Will drift back but wind up late. Definite contender. LUCKY WARRIOR (6) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5f at this track, beaten 3.5 lengths into seventh. Likely improver with strong top-three prospects.
