TANGESH (7) had been racing in excellent form with back-to-back victories before failing to feature last start over 5 ¾f at this track. That effort may be best overlooked and a return to his previous form would make him the one to beat in this. MY DETERMINATION (8) has shown improvement with each of his recent runs, finishing off strongly into fourth over 5f last time. His best efforts compare favourably in this field and he can figure in the top 3 this time. OTAHUHU (5) was handy to the pace throughout when runner-up over 6 ?f at this track last start, sticking on gamely after looming as a winning chance early in the run home. This looks a suitable opportunity and he has every chance to go one better. THUNDER STAR (1) has been below his best recently but finds a race where improvement would not surprise and he is capable of playing a role in the finish. Include in all combinations to be safe.
