With even luck, he's right in the mix and looks hard to beat in this suitable contest. FAN THE HAMMERS (6) made a solid debut at Te Rapa, finishing third over 6 ½f. He'll take plenty from that experience and is open to sharp improvement second up. SOLID GOLD (12) resumes after four-and-a-half months. She was close to breaking through before the spell, finishing third at Ellerslie, and she has trialled up nicely and will be ready to rumble fresh.
