BIRSTALL BABE (11) finished second last start over 1 ?m at Oamaru, beaten 3.5 metres, after a good win at Rangiora the run prior. Will need a bit of luck negotiating a very wide starting position. Meets a comparable field and she can get back to the winner's list. HEZA COOL DUDE (7) has been a model of consistency of late and deserved his success last start, scoring by 11 metres over 1 ?m at Oamaru after making the most of the pole position. Has to contend with a very wide draw this time. Taking on a better field but he is capable of running another big race. BIZZA TO'O (9) is better than his last-start run for ninth over 1 ¼m at Oamaru. Can place. TLUCA (3) must be respected after scoring last start by 0.8 metres at Ashburton Raceway over 1 ½m.
