Verdict

SCOTLYNN FORTRESS (16) brought some very good form to the table before the latest appearance when he finished 7 metres away in second over 1 ½m at Ashburton Raceway. Not drawn to best so may need a 10/10 drive. Stepping up a level this time but he is capable of playing a significant role. AMERICAN TOS (9) drew a wide gate last start and was never a genuine threat, beaten 11 metres into eighth at Richmond Park over 1m. Interesting to see what unfolds from this wide draw. Won't find this any harder and he can bounce back to form. UNICO TESSA (7) is better than her last-start tenth over 1 ³/16m at Rangiora. SUMMER ROSE (10) is in the mix if she can recapture the form from two starts back that saw her finish third over 1 ½m at Ashburton Raceway.
